Universal_energy_spiral
There does seem to be a lot of talk about a "shift of consciousness." It seems to be coming in on many levels, mind, body, spirit, social, eco, as well as others. The world now seems flooded with the ideas of positive thought...changing our world by changing ourselves. We look for solutions and are tired of the focus on the problem dead end scenario that has dominated for many decades, if not centuries. Media and corporations are tuning in, realizing they have to catch on if they want to keep cashing in.

This is truly an inspiring time to be alive and watch this all play out, even as we ourselves feel things growing, shifting, and re-tuning within as well. Sometimes when we ascend to a new level, we might experience a "detox" effect, sort of like when we do a physical cleanse and have a cleansing reaction. These can be a bit uncomfortable, but do pass quickly as we all the new energy that has come in to take hold and become our new vibration or atunement. Don't judge yourself to harshly if you are out of tune for a bit and are not being your "normal" self. It will pass.

Let's all try to be tolerant of one another as these new levels of consciousness settle in and become our flow and rhythm. I know that this has come to my attention, so thought it might be nice to share about it here.  Awareness is the first step in any journey.

Peace and Blessings,
Evo

Energy Shifting. (Did anyone get the number of that truck?)

Posted on Mar 5th, 2008 by Evo : I Am Evo

Recently, in doing some article research for the project I'm working on, I happened across some info on the number sign of  "555". This had been coming to me for years now and it all started one morning when I popped wide awake at 5:55 am. This then happened again the next morning exactly the same. Then, one more time...to make 3 in a row. Afterward, these numbers just started coming at me from everywhere for quite some time. The occurrences trailed off, but still came sporadically.

I started to see this occurrence increase again around the time of a recent "shift". OM has been talking about this same type of shift in some of her postings, and doing a better of describing it than I have, so I'll link to her blog here. This "shift" is just not easy to explain, at least for me it hasn't been. The change is just, wow, very different.

Anyway, I came across this information and boom there it was. This really neat channeling that was offered in the year 2000 on this very topic of shifting and numbers, etc. It helped explain some of the recent occurrences, or it made sense to me anyway. The channeling offered information about repeating patterns of numbers relating to a shift taking place in humanity. It was very synchronistic. I'm offering this information here if anyone else is interested or has been experiencing "changes" and signs as well.

Peace & Blessings,
Evo

Brick Walls and Soft Pillows

Posted on Feb 28th, 2008 by Evo : I Am Evo
Meditation_lotus
Inspiring, amazing, creative people. They work hard and never give up. There is something inside of them that just drives them forward and upward endlessly. Thank God we have those tireless souls working day in and day out for the betterment of this planet!

What about those brick walls though? How hard it is for these driven, high energy people that are used to accomplishing so much to hit a brick wall. They honestly become dazed and confused for a bit...as though they had banged their heads on an actual wall of brick and promptly bounced onto their bottom. Without the actual wall there to guide them, they get back up and go again, and again and again. In frustration they call it a bad day, or a bad week and set it in their minds that it will work out fine. They just have to solve this one problem or challenge. They're used to getting their way because they work so hard that they usually do.

The other day I found myself shaking off the brick wall effect after about the fourth bounce on my rear. As I went for a break grumbling about the set back it occurred to me that had I followed my intuition several steps back, I would have made a left turn and probably not found that brick wall. But instead I was so determined to accomplish a set of goals in the impossible time limit I'd set for myself, that I plowed right ahead...intuition not headed. Intelligent, creative people tend to be impatient because they can actually see and feel the end result as the inspiration is unfolding. They already know how something they are working on is supposed to look, feel, and act. In their minds they are experiencing the completed project. When what they are working on doesn't flow into the predicted channels in a very sensible manner...Boom, brick wall!

What is the Universe trying to tell us in these moments? How could it be that we are given inspiration, drive, motivation, and the ability only to be told to wait. It's like sitting on a curb waiting for a bus you aren't sure is coming. Feeling frustrated and wasting valuable time is not on these people's agenda. They are problem solvers, not problem watchers. So they sit, looking at the wall, wondering how and why it got there, or how and why they didn't manage to go around it.

Maybe what the Universe is telling them is that they need to take some time out and find a soft pillow instead. It might be that we need to re-center, renew, and re-invigorate ourselves. When throwing all you have into a project, you are also "spending" all of your energy on it as well. There is to little of you left to feel connected to source energy. We often ignore the signals that are telling us it's time for a break, placating them by telling ourselves that if we could just 'get this one more thing out of the way, everything will be fine and I'll take a break.'

I think maybe the brick wall syndrome is actually a sign that it's time for a soft pillow. It might be the one on your bed, or it might be something else. Maybe it is a good book or a movie. Laughing and playing with kids and pets sure feels like a soft pillow after a brick wall. Some good food and good company seems to clear the mind. What ever it is that feels wonderful and nurturing to you is your soft pillow. You might have several of them and need to take a turn resting on all of them before the brick wall dissolves. As for me, being stubborn hasn't made one go away yet. But finding what feels like a big soft pillow to land on does...if only I could remember that while I'm bouncing off of walls. Hmm, is that where that expression came from?

May all your landings be soft ones,

Your Song - Sungha Jung

This little guy from South Korea reminds me that there are many beautiful and gifted

children on this planet that have great things to do while they are here.

Wouldn't it be nice of the adults to band together and save the world for them?

Educate, inform, teach, tell, show, and don't stop talking about it even when everyone seems sick and tired of hearing it. It is the job of the enlightened to make the path known and easy to travel.

Funny you should ask. I have just asked for help in another post. It felt so strange as I did.
It's not something I'm used to doing.

My question is: Would anyone like to help me change the world? I've tried to do it alone, but for some reason the job is just to much for me. I sure could use a hand, so if you have some time...I have some actual tasks. Stop in and I'll let you choose one.

Thanks,

Feng Shui 101

How can I start using Feng Shui in one day? No studying, hiring, or reading? Well, there is a little reading involved. But if you can read a cereal box, then you can read this article.

Feng Shui is a functional aspect of your life whether you use it or not. Most people think that it is complicated and complex. They're right, it is! However there are simple ways to start using this time tested, powerful practice in your life right now without taking a course, hiring a consultant, or reading a pile of books. What messages is your space already sending and how is it affecting you? Read below to discover a few of them.

5 Things You Need to know about Feng Shui

or

Easy Feng Shui Tips You Can Use Today

1) Take out the trash

Now this may sound like a no brainer, but let's explore the concept. Far to often there is a trash can sitting out in full view in the kitchen (an area that relates to abundance,) usually without the lid on it and overflowing. This is one of the most harmful things for your abundance and one of the easiest things to fix. Get a small kitchen trash can that fits under the sink or use a pantry to stow it if you must. Empty it often.

People will say "But I can't get by with such a small trash can in the kitchen." I say why not? It is easier to take out the trash daily (or even tie up two small bags daily) than to let a stinking pile of garbage accumulate out in the open and then struggle to get it taken out without making a big mess. Take my word for it, get the little can...get it out of sight and smell range. Your health and abundance will improve!

2) The front door

This is a given standard lecture you'll get from every Feng Shui Consultant, but it is worth repeating...the front door is utterly the mouth of your home. All energy that enters your home is affected by the condition of your entrance.

Let's look at another aspect of this. Is your front door the main entrance utilized? For many people it is not. They often use another door instead, like a side or back door. If this is your preference, that's okay. (Bonus Tip: Use the front entrance yourself at least part of the time, even once a month, and when you do make sure to feel abundant and blessed that you have this space at your command as you walk through the door.)

But what we really want to look at first is; When someone new comes to your home, or business for that matter, do they automatically choose the correct door? Have you made it clear where to go? This may sound like another no brainer, but I recently went to a family gathering only to find myself being rerouted to a back door because they "don't use the front door." How would a new visitor ever know that? Make the front door work! Please!

If you absolutely prefer not to make this your visitor entrance, make sure a guest does not feel confused about where to go. Using nothing more than your common sense, you can stand at the curb and look at the front of your home as a stranger would see it. Be creative. Use items you already have on hand to enhance the door or path that you would like your guests to utilize. In this way you will attract energy into your home or business that is clear and free of frustration or confusion.

3) Take a good look at your wall decor

This is big! I was recently working with someone that had major complaints in the areas of relationships and money. Not at all surprising...she had a poster in her kitchen that was like the kiss of death. It was of the Beatles in the early days standing around some wreck of an old car that looked as though it had been car bombed. The background was desolate and the whole thing was very Grey. Remember, the kitchen is an area that speaks to abundance...no matter where it is in the house. The best thing for her to do was to get rid of that depressing poster and put up something with lush vegetation and life force energy...a flower garden, fresh vegetables, or a really beautiful meadow. Anything but a bombed out car with four guys that suffered major disagreements standing in opposing positions looking at you with blank expressions. (Bonus Tip: As for relationships, her relationship area of the house is missing. The quickest fix for the problem is to put paired objects in the relationship corner of each of the rooms in her home.)

Back to the wall art, make sure that what you put on your walls makes you feel GREAT...not just good, or worse yet "I didn't have anything else so I just stuck that up there." Bonus Tip: If you want to attract more love and romance, don't use wall art depicting single people in your bedroom. Make sure to use images of happy couples instead. No sinking ships, scary old guys, or predator animals in your bedroom either. Keep it soft, whimsical, and beautiful.

4) Books, Magazines, and Movies

We all have our own taste in entertainment. But let me lend a word of caution; where thoughts go...energy flows. If the books and other media in your home are largely about horror, murder, and other types of mayhem, you are inviting trouble.

One client had numerous Stephen King and other horror type novels on a bookshelf in her relationship area and could not figure out why her friendships, family relationships, and love life were riddled with feelings of being attacked, ridiculed, and discarded. These types of items are best passed along when you are done with them. As for the movies, just rent the scary ones if you must see them. Keep in mind that what you dwell upon in your thoughts will end up creating the You that you are.

Do an experiment; go on a (negative) media diet for one month. Stay away from the news, watch only movies that focus on positive messages (such as The Ultimate Gift, The Last Mimzy, almost anything from Disney, even comedies like Chuck and Larry) don't read the newspaper, and get yourself copies of these two books: Notes From The Universe and The Secret. Just having uplifting books and movies in your space will raise the Chi or life force energy of your home.

5) Make your bed

There are so many reasons for this that I just don't know where to begin. It is amazing the number of people that do not make their bed each morning. They say that they just don't have time. Don't be ashamed. I used to be one of them. Then I learned about the negative impact it was having on my life, so I changed my habits and had to admit that my mother was right all along. If you want to take a little test on this, try having someone you really admire walk into your bedroom when your bed is not made and see how it makes you feel. That feeling is the message you are sending yourself everyday.

An unmade bed leads to keeping your bedroom door closed to hide the mess, which then cuts off the energy flow to the space. You don't feel very honored getting into an unmade bed. This can result in a daily message going into your subconscious mind that your are not a worthy being. It can lend energy to a lack of focus, messy relationships, reduced quality of sleep, low self esteem, and stress among other things. I have timed it...it takes two minutes if you are picky about it to make the bed in the morning, one if you are resourceful enough to make your bed easy to straighten. Tip: Make sure you have two pillows in shams and two small accent pillows. At night pull these four off and in the morning it is easy to pull up the covers, stand up your sleeping pillows, lean the sham pillows in front of them and the two accent pillows in front of that. Presto, you are a refined person with impeccable habits.

My Disclaimer: Your bed may not be easy to make the first time or two if it hasn't been made in a while. Start the program on your day off if need be. Get it all fixed up with clean sheets, make it up nice, then it is much easier to keep it that way.

This is important for all you singles out there: If you are a guy...the girls will be amazed and impressed by this. You score points as a man that has had some house breaking and might not be so bad to be around (Psst...she will tell her friends "He even makes his bed." which is generally met with a "WOW.") If you are a girl, you will score points instantly because most men are looking for a woman at least as good as their mother and most mothers make the bed! For the couples, it is a must as well unless you like a messy relationship.

As for kids, please do this with them and make it a way of life. They feel more loved, safe, stable, and nurtured with a neat bed to get into each night. They may grumble about having to make it now, but the positive effects of having their bed made daily will last a lifetime.

BONUS TIP - Space Clearing (This is big!):

There is one more free Feng Shui tip that I'd like to share with you. This will bring help bring about some positive shifts in your life and dissipate lower and dense energies for very little money. It also makes a perfect housewarming gift. Go to a natural food store or wherever you can by good quality essential oils. Buy a small bottle of Frankincense essential oil. Get a glass spray bottle, preferably violet or cobalt blue in color, (usually a 4 oz. atomizer) and a bottle of distilled water or you may use Fiji Water if you wish. Mix 10-20 drops (Not droppers!) of the Frankincense with the pure water in your glass atomizer bottle. Spray this throughout your house on a regular basis. Also spray yourself with it...just spritz it in the air all around you as a quick way to cleanse your aura and feel refreshed. Spray it in any room where a very negative person has been, an argument has taken place, or someone has been ill to raise and cleanse the Chi or energy of that space. You can also spritz your car interior after stressful commutes to negate the effects of all those four letter words. Pixelation Smiley Small Frankincense is a is a very high vibrational or frequency herb. It is preferred over sage for space clearing and harmonizing Chi.

These 5 free Feng Shui tips, plus the bonus tips, will help get your space into the flow of positive energy quickly and with little money out of pocket. You will begin to attract more wealth, good health, and general positive energy into all areas of your life. Some of the effects are subtle, others jump right out at you. Whenever you make a change in your Feng Shui, mark it on the calender for tracking purposes. In hindsight we see the life changes that result more clearly.

George for President? Conscious consumers votes change the world!

Posted on Feb 22nd, 2008 by Evo : I Am Evo
Copy of georgewashington
He can't be bribed, manipulated, bullied, or seduced. Whats more, he doesn't have to answer to Congress. He simply gets right to work. No arguments!

His only campaign promise: One George - One Vote. This George, unlike the Georges we've encountered recently, has the potential to become our most resourceful, and effective President for positive change.

He won't be accepting campaign contributions. Nor will red tape, endless pomp & circumstance, or nepotism be involved. We simply point him in a direction, and being the Stoic dead President that he is...he won't argue. I don't know about you, but I'm seeing all pros so far.

We are the champions!

It seems to have escaped us, the consumers, the masses funding the very machinery that operates this country, that we hold the highest power of all. We've been taught this power is expressed in voting at the polls on election days. That is what makes us a free country, a Democracy. This is true, but unfortunately many of us have lost heart. Many of us aren't as enthusiastic about the process as we could be. What went wrong? It is that much of politics is about buying and selling support?

I was recently at a gathering on Superbowl Sunday and listened to people laughing about the idea of voting in the Presidential Primary. These individuals said they felt their votes wouldn't matter anyway, so why bother. Then the conversation turned into "the joke" of that Florida fiasco. "It doesn't matter who we elect, they, (the powers that be,) would just call it a botched election if they don't like the outcome." Will we ever live that one down?

It's sad, but I think I almost agree. My one little vote at the polls seems far less meaningful to me now than it used to. Our election process doesn't seem to be much more fit than the one we have been trying to set up in Afghanistan. Once a politician reaches their goal of being elected, they are under immediate pressure to conform to the Washington D.C. way. They rarely, if ever, hold to the ideals they proclaimed upon admittance to the post. It may not be the fault of the individual as much as it is the system in which they must operate. Is this sounding pessimistic to you? You're right, it is.

Enough focusing on what's wrong. That has never solved anything. Lets look at where we can be effective. We, the masses, the little people, spend most of the money! We have the power of money on our side. We are a combined force with a greater strength and weight than an army of politicians! How can we complain that government is not doing it's job when we aren't either?

Every Dollar Spent Is A Vote For Something

Let's play with some basic numbers...

According to the Census Bureau in a Survey of our nation's spending habits:

Household expenditures for food in 2005-2006 average annual amount spent was $6,022.

Estimated current U.S. population is: 301,139,947 as of July 2007.

According to the Wikipedia articleHousehold income in the United States "In the year 2005, there were approximately 113,146,000 households in the United States."

This brings us to a fairly accurate estimate that $681,365,212,000.00 per year is being spent purchasing groceries by American consumers.

What we spend our money on is our choice, for the most part. Yes, we do have to pay taxes, and death is a given. These topics have been well established and are a waste of time to fuss about. However, what we spend the majority of our money on throughout the bulk of our life is still our decision isn't it? Are you feeling more powerful yet? You should be.

If you've seen the movie The Secret, and I certainly hope you have, you might remember something that Lisa Nichols said (I'm quoting from memory,) "Doesn't it make more sense to stop giving all of our energy to the problem and start focusing on the solution?" It is this call to right action that sums up the essence of the George Washington for President philosophy. It's been the topic of discussion for years. George has been waiting patiently in queue, knowing that he would be the perfect candidate for the job. Waiting for us to see his powerful potential and simple execution. As our appointed representative, he won't sit around gripping about what's wrong, blaming others, or saying he hasn't the ability or support to fulfill his promises. Instead he is poised and ready to get to work. What more could we want from a President?

Copy of binary money

One George - One Vote. We can, one George at a time, quickly and effectively change this country as well as the world. In the movie Sicko, by Michael Moore, the film gave a quick overview of the number of health care lobbyists per politician in Washington D.C. and the large sums of money given to these politicians to grease the wheels of big business. If you're anything like me, you've known this intellectually for some time, but it doesn't really sink in until you see it mapped out in front of you with the little price tags above their heads. It changes one's perspective from that of a passive observer to that of reluctant participant.

Every dollar spent is a vote for something.
You're saying...
Good job, here is my support. Do it some more.

Utilizing the One George-One Vote campaign premise is easy. Here is one small example from my own life. I buy natural laundry soap (Seventh Generation offers the best eco-friendly laundry products I've found!) because the major name-brands are full of harmful chemicals that are entirely unnecessary and contrary to the concept of clean. My vote then goes for a company that is doing something that I know is good for the planet and good for me. Companies producing name-brand products (better not say who, remember what they did to Oprah?) have been losing more customers and revenue to natural alternatives every day. Since when do we need petroleum in our washing machines anyway?

We don't have to read every label and understand every issue out there. That isn't necessary. The easiest thing we can do is realize that there is never a time when more chemicals and toxins are good for us or our planet. Find an eco-friendly replacement you like and call it a day.

As for George, unlike most campaigns, we don't want your money. Instead we would ask you to educate yourself. Scrutinize your purchases. Find a network of like minded people.

It's time for us to feel our consumer power. It's time for us to form a living environment of our choosing. With each and every George vote, we determine the State Of Our Union. Let's not wait for government to get around to forcing large corporations to behave. This is our time. Why not just do it ourselves?

A consumer based political structure is on the rise. The media is no longer our only information pipeline. We are communicating on a global level with the touch of a button. Consumers are becoming more enlightened than ever before. It is time that we made it a movement, a conscious process that has rank and file.

If you wish to offer support for the George Washington For President campaign, please leave a message in the comment area. Someone from HQ will smile and be glad you did.

Conscious Consumers are the new Heroes!

Conscious consumerism is getting attention from big business. Predictions of massive growth and financial gains in the preventive medicine and wellness areas have been coming in for some time now. Alternative medicine is gaining respect and being offered along side Western medicine. Things are changing, but will it be fast enough to save us from ourselves?

It is for each and every soul to make a choice; I am either part of the solution or part of the problem.

Sometimes we are both problem and solution. No one person can be without any fault, nor live a life entirely without causing some harm, small though it may be. But, through conscious living we have an opportunity to choose the type of footprint we leave on this planet. In the end, that is truly all we are; the mark we have left behind. Wise elders often ask the questions; Have we lived well, done well by others, loved enough? The goal of conscious living is to leave behind a mark that says "Yes! I was part of the solution."

This topic is receiving more and more attention throughout mainstream America. It was once considered taboo for a business to touch upon such things as social responsibility or, as some may call it, politics. Thankfully there are many pioneers that have taken the brave steps to successfully openly integrate conscious awareness with their businesses. Some of these individuals and companies have become household names! I applaud these modern heroes and thank them for being so bold as to pave the way for others to express their passion for striving to be part of the solution while providing helpful, healthy goods and services to others.

One possible solution available to each of us is to combine our political freedoms with our economic choices. This gives us a far more powerful voting system that packs a lot more political punch. Every dollar we spend is a vote for something. This statement of validation to the provider of your products or services says "Good Job! Here is my support. Do it some more." Would you give a company your vote if you knew that they were hiding gruesome operating practices from their customers? Would you vote for a company that knowingly does some awful and gut wrenching things to our planet, people and animals for the sake of profits? Probably not.

Please take the time to educate yourself, your family, and your social network about companies and businesses that are taking the low road by producing products that are damaging us and the planet. Look for products that are good for the planet, good for our community, good for us, and good for our pets to replace them with. Consider removing support from those doing things that you don't agree with. This is your time. Tell the world that it does matter what we do and how we do it!

Leave a footprint that says I care.

A Rocky Climb

Posted on Oct 2nd, 2006 by Evo : I Am Evo
Cliff_in_clouds
My philosophies sometimes collide with the world around me. At times it seems easy to be what I am, what I choose to be. Other times, it can be such a struggle. There is so much at play in our lives; Universal Energies, Earth Energies, Society Energies, Political Energies, Human Energies...the list goes on. Those of us that know do what we can to protect ourselves from the fears, frustrations, lack & limitations, and such of outside forces. We know to center in meditation and feed ourselves with readings of knowledge and enlightenment.

Still, at times I am being tested. At times I am being handed more than I feel can be dealt with in love and grace. At times I am not the person that I know myself to be at my core. Instead I am the one that this rough and tumble world created long ago along my life-path. Why is it that I revert to this survival mode? What is it in that makes me feel safer? Is it really just that I have used these old school tactics in the past and survived against the odds? It was a long and winding road that got me where I am today. I have tested and tempted fate many times, always wondering if I would one day go to far.

At this time in my life I am in battle with a larger and more resourceful entity. Duality has become the norm, for when I am engaged, I cannot seem to find that inner peace and knowing that resides there the rest of the time. It seems I'm doing well just to recall the memory of that blissful feeling of being centered and connected at times of chaos and struggle. It is quite difficult for me to remember that this is merely an illusion while in the throws of battle. Little things set me off. I have snapped at those I love and lost patience with those I care about. This isn't my norm! I am not perfect, but am usually far more graceful, tactful, and wise in my dealings then I have been of late.

I am asking for guidance, help, and support in this matter. Prayers are great, true friends are great, and divine beings are great. Seeing past myself in this moment puts things more in perspective. Forgiving myself for not being the best I can be lately is helping. In times of intense stress and struggle, what else is one to do? Feng Shui, crystals, intuition...they all give me a leg up, but none will solve all of my difficulties. Visualization, gratitude, nature, water, and daily readings are the best medicine. My students are the best medicine for they force me out of myself and into the highest potential I can attain for their sakes. It would not be so easy to carry on if it were not for these tools and blessings.

I pray for relief. I pray for peace and harmony. I pray for joy to return as one of the dominant forces in my days. I believe that this will come and therefore so it is.
